The Fine Art Museum of Sedona is hosting “Tea and Turquoise” on December 8, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:30pm at Heartline Café.

Speaker Carrie Cannon, a member of the Kiowa tribe of Oklahoma, has lived and worked in Arizona for the Hualapai Tribe since 2005. She will talk about the special significance of turquoise to individual tribes, as well as distinctive cultural styles, its influences in the southwest and the history and mining of this wondrous stone.

Our “Tea” will feature Trailhead Teas; and southwest influenced teacakes and sandwiches created by Heartline Café.

In addition, the jewelry of three distinctive turquoise jewelry artists Michael Grant, the Lister family and our speaker Carrie Cannon will be showcased for your private viewing and purchasing, just in time for the holidays!
